Courtney R. Prinski was born in Tampa, Florida, and grew up primarily in New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, cum laude, from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. Her academic prowess earned her the Justice Joseph Branch Scholarship to pursue her law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law from 2005 to 2008. While at law school, Courtney participated in the National Trial Team and played interscholastic softball and basketball.
Following her legal education, Courtney gained a prestigious clerkship under District Court Judge Boyle in the Eastern District of North Carolina. With this foundational experience, she embarked on a seven-year tenure at Morris James, initially in the field of corporate bankruptcy and then moving into medical negligence defense, maintaining an undefeated record in trial.
At Jacobs & Crumplar, Courtney’s focus will center on medical negligence and complex civil litigation. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Delaware.
Courtney also volunteers in the community with Renee’s Rescues, Inc., as a Foster as well as a Foster and Adoption Placement Facilitator, where she works as a matchmaker for people and puppies, helping abused and neglected dogs find loving forever homes. She previously served as a Child Advocate from 2010 through 2016, representing the interests of abused and neglected children in the State of Delaware.
